id like to talk a little bit about this new classification for pluto...
i heard about it just before i hit snooze on my alarm, but then found myself so excited i couldnt go back to sleep... seriously.
something about the fact that what the science books have taught us all these years will now be reprinted to teach the next generation something completely different is so fascinating to me. and that technically, what we have learned to date is all wrong.
in 2003 i happened to catch a smidge of the news while on vacation in aruba. i heard that astronomers had found a planet next to jupiter in our solar system. holy canolli! i couldnt wait to get back to the states to learn more about it... when i got back i couldnt understand why no one was talking about it. i mean, a huge planet, in OUR solar system, undiscovered until that day. it was equivalent to learning that there IS in fact a santa claus (there is by the way). i was searching news channel after news channel to no avail. then i found it, thanks to my digital soul mate, google. it is a planet the SIZE of jupiter in a solar system NEXT to ours.
this is jack's deflated excitement.
so fast forward to today, still harboring feelings of loss and resentment from 3 years ago... to hear that there is a surprise like this. some think its semantics, but i dont care...
this is jack's renewed hope.
as of today, our solar system only has 8 planets... at least that we know of. there is always the chance that theres one hiding behind uranus.

This is kc!'s utter astonishment that a woman actually made reference to Fight Club.

In other news, I am shocked and surprised at how badly I follow the news, that I had to find out about Pluto loosing planet status from the blogosphere. However, 8 is my lucky number and thus the planets have just become quite zen for kc!land (that's the magical land I live in, in my head)

*footnote* ::Oh and yes, if you consult the kc!brand styleguide, you will see that with anything kc!, it is always lowercase "k" lowercase "c" with the exclamation point after. You are to treat the exclamation point as if it were a regular letter and all other rules of grammar and punctuation follow. See www.exkclamation.com for any further study.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled blog...

kc...
because i have been told to, i am now very much against the exclamation point as it relates to your name.
you only have yourself to blame.
i am going to redesign that cafe press shirt and screenprint it myself.
mandy!
That shirt is made by a friend of mine. Not me. Don't take your anger out on the shirt. You only have yourself to blame.
And don't be jealous of my exclamation point. it's not my fault that a capital K and a capital C don't look good together or that we segregate punctuation from all the other letters... can't we all just get along?
what are you saying to the K and the C? why are you telling them they arent beautiful on their own?
i think its the reason for the K's anorexia.
K and C by themselves are quite adorable, but when you get them together, they don't make quite the attractive couple. Plus they make for horrible party guests (especially when on their periods).
i refuse to continue this comment thread only becasue i know it wont ever stop.
make it stop.
